Painting my bed?

I've never painted anything, so if someone could guide me through the steps, it would be much appreciated. My bed is wood with no coating, so it's basically bare wood. How do I paint it white?

You will need to sand it a bit, then put a coat of primer on it, and then the top coat of white paint. Be sure to let it dry completely between coats.

Have fun!
