Drawing lighting on peoples skin, sweat, or reflections?

I am a very talented drawer for my age (teen), in sports people. I'm good at drawing detail, but I want to know badly, how to color/draw sweat, or shiny people, or reflefctions?

Notice the helmet. How do you draw reflections like that?

Look how part of his skin is bright white, because of the lighting. Whenever I try to draw that, it just looks like white stripes, going down the sides of his arms, instead of lighting.

i don't think I need to link an example of sweat, but when I draw sweat, it looks weird.

Help would be appreciated.
