Chatti - has a spectacular aura about
I live in an old apartment and when the weather is mild, it smells of gasoline, why?

The apartment complex I live in is approximately 40 years old. When the weather is above 50 degrees, you can smell gasoline. My apartment is upstairs and all electric. Any suggestions as to why this is? I already had the fire department out when this happened last year, but they didn't find any problem. Someone else said it is either human wastes decomposing or animal waste from the woods nearby. Help!

I would sooner think that its gas leaking from some under ground tank like a near by service station.
