can a jack russell and an english bull dog handle winter weather?

i have an english bull dog and a jack russell. can they handle being left out in this michigan winter weather? the jack russell hates being out there but he just may be too spoiled, wanting to be inside sleeping on the couch like always. the bull dog doesnt seem to mind being outside but he's so stupid he dont even know where he is.
i deont even mean being left out 24 hours. i just mean like all day. or not even all day. for hours at a time? its like 15 out right now.
dogs eat snow when thirsty in the winter.......you must be from florida.
the bulldog doesnt seem to mind being out. he just sits like a lump and stares into space with his toungue out. he's so dumb.

Terriers generally aren't good outside in cold, snowy weather. It has nothing to do with being spoiled, moisture freezes the hair around their pads and in between toes and it must hurt because my two limp if they are out too long in the snow. So, in answer to your question I'd say that a JRT can't handle being left outside 24/7 in this midwest winter weather.
