| Inside a bag, less is more. The idea is to warm the air inside the bag with your body heat. Covering your bag with a blanket will help to provide some added insulation.      |

| Im with the 1st answer...I wear polypro long johns and add a liner also....I have covered my bag with a travel blanket I pack with to sit on at the fire...be sure to wear socks...too many clothes interferes with the bodys ability to warm the bag with body heat |
