Is this normal for weather?

I left my room for 10 minutes, the roads were clear, and you could see green grass, now there is 2 inches of snow on the ground! Is this normal?
positive, i live in western pa and we are going to get almost a foot of snow

Depends where you are.

There have been historical freak weather from hundreds of years ago - Raining frogs, seashells and fish in some places.
Snow - so much it covered houses - and animals wandered around lost as fences were buried. Wind enough to blow ships from America to Greenland - and storms to pile ships into towns.

So, weather is not normal all of the time.
