meteorology?

im 15 and im thinking of being a meteorologist. ive always been facinated with the weather. every day i can tell my friends what the temp and weather would be like. and they would always think im wierd for knowing all the time. and i want to hear from the pro's what you have to do to become one. like what preperation you have to take, college recomendations and just how is it like. my uncle is one from florida and he used to be on channel 2 and so i guess it runs in the family http://www.nbc-2.com/AboutUs/Bios/wherearetheynow.shtml
