yes, but this is not the point
during summer, it gets very crowded, and traffic becomes very disturbing, even more than the normal days .. so when you take a taxi .. with a summer heat, it becomes really annoying ..

i LOVED istanbul 10 times more in the winter .... you can get stuck in traffic, watch the nice scenaries and still have that big : ) in your face

It won't reach 50 degrees like it does in arabian peninsula but it will surely be about 30-32 degrees on day time it doesn't kill but walking under the sun for many hours will fatigue you...at night time it will be a pleasant 23-25.One or two week each year usually happens something called 'hellish hot' then it goes as much as 36-37.However that much is unusual.Late July is a good time to visit Istanbul however late april and may might be preferable. One thing I can assure you is that It won't rain in Istanbul at that time and the sky will be super clear...

No it will be roasting hot! Turkey in July can be exceedingly warm to hot around the 30 - 35 degree Celsius mark on average.

i went to kusadasi at this time last year, it is very hot particularly if your used to UK temps, take factor 50 cream and 30 as you will burn if you don't protect yourself. the heat is not as fierce as we get in UK, i know this sound stupid but its true and you will cope , just be very carefull, have a nice holiday xxx
