is it possible to contact the weather station and get temperatures for a certain

region dating back 30 years? or do you know where we could find the information online?

If you are in the U.S., then you can contact the local National Weather Service office for your region and they should be able to point you to this information. You can find the office closest to you by looking at this map http://newweb.wrh.noaa.gov/wrh/nwspage.php
Then just click on the link and it will take you to their web page, where you should be able to find contact information for them (it will probably say "Office Information" or something like that). You may also be able to find the information online by going to the website for the regional climate center for you region, but I'm sure it will be easier to talk to the NWS people.
