...the people are friendly.? Like the town Julia Roberts moved to in Sleeping with the Enemy. Can someone give me some ideas?

I just visited a cool town. my cousin lives in kannapolis, North Carolina. this city is about 30 minutes outside of Charlotte. the weather is great, compared to my home in Ohio. i have been there for Easter and Thanksgiving and the weather was perfect. All of the people in the town were friendly. There was a nice mix of all races. They are building a new bio research campus. if I didn't already have my mind set to moving to Nevada i would be there.
