State University Northridge and am looking to transfer to a college after i complete my second year. this is what im looking for: -Four year college -out of state tuition under 20 grand -preferably outside of CA -plan on majoring in either zoology or wildlife bio. -suburban or rural area -im outdoor person who like to hike, mountain bike, camp, etc. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. |

| University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB has an excellent biology department, with a wide range of zoology and animal science programs. Tuition (even for international students) is definitely less than $20k, and the international student scholarships are way easier to get than domestic student scholarships. Edmonton is a pretty good city. There's definitely tons of outdoor activities - lots of running and biking paths through the city and the river valley, its fairly close to the mountains (3 hours to Jasper). There's always something going on here, some kind of concert or exhibition, or art show, or what have you. The only bad thing? It gets freaking cold. |

| Why do you want to leave California..I would highly suggest California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. They have a zoology major plus the location is great for hiking, biking, and camping. You are close to many other beautiful small towns (Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, Los Osos, Cambria, etc.) and the ocean. |
