Zoology, Animal sciences, Wildlife biology, AHHH!!!?

Ok, I've sorta asked this before but I thought I might get better answers if I'm more specific. I'm about to graduate from high-school and I would like to get a job working with animals. I would probably like to work at a zoo or conservation. Whatever I do I want to work directly with the animals. So, what courses do I need to take in college? The college I want to go to does not offer a major in zoology. It does offer a major in biology. Could I make that work?

Ps: No, I do not want to be a Vet.
OK, thanks. If I do decide to go for the biology major, are there any courses that I will have to take to be able to do what I want? Or will just having a degree in biology period qualify me for all of it?
