Zoology degree??

I love Biology and Animals, so i sorta fell like i would really enjoy to sudy zoology at uni. but my family tell me not to beacuse there are no good jobs or money.
What jobs can you get with a degree in zoology?
is it easy to get a good well paying job studying animals and travelling with this degree???

With a degree in zoology you can work in a zoo, for a government agency (US Fish and Wildlife Service, etc.), for a non-profit organization, for an environmental consultant firm, a lab, a museum, or doing research for a university. Pay can depend greatly on how high of a degree you get, experience, and WHO you work for.

you must do what your heart tells you. if you want to be a zoologist, then do it and don't listen to the parents that want you to be a banker.

i did archaeology. admittedly you aren't rich but who wants lots of cash instead of an interesting life ....

go to college, learn zoology, meet like minded people, and you'll have loads of opportunity for studying / working abroad etc
